The third and final workshop was organized in Hotel Arthur, in the central Helsinki in May 2025. Around 30 participants around the Nordics took part in this three-day-long workshop.
During the week end we discussed concrete solutions to youth participation and reflected on the results of the two previous workshops. Main objective of the weekend was to co-create recommendations on policy and practices which were combined into a publication by our staff after the project activities.
Workshops program:
Session 1 – Getting to know each other and the project
Session 2 – Brainstorming solutions
Session 3 – From plans to practice
Session 4 – Writing the recommendations
Session 5 – Finishing the recommendations
Presentation of the results
Wrap-up & feedback
On Friday we got to learn about the project and its goals and warm-up our brains to the work ahead. Participants had a chance to get to know each other through organized activities as well as social program in the evening.

On Saturday we hosted multiple session on working with the recommendations. Starting from beginning where the participants got to brainstorm ideas based on the context provided and the results of the previous two workshops. The sessions were facilitated by our steering group members and members of our organizations board. Session later in the day focused on specifics of the recommendations such as ”who would this effect?” and on which level the recommendations could be implemented (local, regional, Nordic). In the end of the day participant got to experience a Finnish sauna at Allas sea pool Helsinki.

On Sunday it was time to finish up the recommendations and to present them to all! Work of all of the groups was impressing and applicable for the needs of the publication which functions as the final product of the project! After the presentations it was time for the feedback and the diplomas every participant received for their participation in the project!
